BYD to issue RMB 4 bln medium-term notesPublished: 20 Jan 2009 00:00:00 PST
Jan. 20, 2009 (China Knowledge) – BYD Co Ltd<1211> announced it would issue up to RMB 4 billion medium-term notes in China.
The company said the proposed issue of the five-year notes is subject to the approval of its shareholders and the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors.
Proceeds from the issuance will be used to cover capital expenditure, replenish working capital and repay bank loans, according to the company.
