Shanghai Construction wins bid for an RMB 1.65 bln projectPublished: 06 Apr 2009 19:55:34 PST

Apr. 7, 2009 (China Knowledge) – Shanghai Construction Co Ltd<600170>, principally engaged in construction for residential, industrial and public utility use, announced on Apr. 3 that it signed a contract worth RMB 1.65 billion to build a passenger transportation center in Tianning District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, sources reported.

The project, covering potential floor area of 190,000 square meters including supporting facilities, is planned to be completed in April, 2010.

Reportedly, a subsidiary of the Shanghai-listed enterprise recently won a bid for an RMB 637.1 million project for the construction of a hotel on Hengshan Road in Shanghai.
